This is the friendship between the mermaid Aquamarine and the human Leonard. Apparently, Leonard knew of Aqua's identity as he found clues to her identity, such as her mermaid necklace being left in the pool. Leonard rescued Aqua when Cecilia tried to trap her in a water tower, where the mermaid stayed at night. Aqua gains a new friend because of this and grants Leonard a wish. He wished to be in a romantic relationship with his co-worker, Bonnie. Thanks to Aqua's wish-opportunity, both Leonard and Bonnie are in a romantic relationship.
